The 13-sheeter that sits on a procurement manager's desk for twelve months at eye level — wiro-bound on art card with an easel back, in A5 and 8 × 10 in, from 500 pieces.

In short

A corporate table calendar is a 13-sheeter — a cover leaf plus twelve months — wiro-bound on 210–300 GSM art card with an easel back. From Sivakasi it runs ₹28–₹45 per piece at 5,000 units in A5, with a MOQ of 500 pieces and a 12–18 day lead time.

The one comparison worth making before you order

iPrintZone's Sivakasi price page quotes ₹39 for an A5 210 GSM corporate table calendar — a single number, no quantity stated. Our 210 GSM A5 band is ₹52–₹82 at 500 pieces and ₹25–₹40 at 5,000. If ₹39 is a 5,000-piece rate it is competitive; if it is a 500-piece rate it is very cheap indeed and worth asking what the easel back is made of. That is the whole problem with a price published without a quantity, and it is why every table on this site names one.

The four desk formats, and who each one suits

13-sheeter wiro with easel back

The default corporate desk calendar. Cover leaf plus twelve months, double-loop wire at the head, a die-cut card easel that folds out behind. Prints 4-colour both sides, so the reverse of each month is a second branded surface most buyers forget to use.

  • MOQ 500
  • ₹25–45 at 5,000
  • 12–18 days

Tent style, self-standing

Folded card that stands on its own with no separate easel. Fewer components, slightly cheaper to assemble, and it ships flatter — which matters if you are dispatching to 38 branches. Less rigid than an easel back on a 300 GSM card.

  • MOQ 500
  • ₹30–48 at 5,000
  • 12–18 days

7-sheeter bi-monthly

Two months per leaf, seven leaves including the cover. Roughly 25–30% cheaper than a 13-sheeter and still gives a full year. Right when the calendar is a volume gift rather than a design piece — co-operative banks and distributors buy this format in lakhs.

  • MOQ 500
  • ₹19–30 at 5,000
  • 12–18 days

Perpetual / permanent

Undated block — day, date and month on separate flipping strips, or a twelve-leaf block with no year. Useful for a brand that does not want to reprint annually, and for export buyers whose shipping window makes a dated calendar risky.

  • MOQ 500
  • ₹22–36 at 5,000
  • 14–20 days

Corporate branding on a desk calendar — what works, what wastes money

Worth doing

  • Logo lockup on the easel back — visible to the person opposite the desk, not just the owner
  • Reverse of each month leaf: contact block, branch list, product range. Same press pass, no extra cost
  • Matte lamination on the cover leaf — a desk calendar is handled 365 times and gloss shows fingerprints
  • Local festival and holiday marks for the state you are gifting into
  • A QR code on the cover leaf linking to a catalogue — the only measurable part of a calendar gift

Think twice

  • Foil on all thirteen leaves. Foil on the cover reads as premium; foil throughout reads as expensive and adds 20–40%
  • Spot UV on a matte-laminated leaf that will be flipped monthly — it scuffs at the wire
  • Full-bleed dark images on every leaf. Ink coverage that heavy on 210 GSM card needs extra drying time and can set off in the stack
  • Below-250 GSM card on an easel-back model. It folds forward on a desk within a week
  • Individual gift boxes below 2,000 pieces — the box costs more than the calendar at that quantity

Why the desk calendar outlives the wall calendar in corporate gifting

A wall calendar is a household object; a desk calendar is an office one. That distinction decides who should buy which. If you are a co-operative bank gifting 40,000 account holders, the wall calendar wins — it goes home, it is seen by a family, and it costs a third as much. If you are a manufacturer gifting 800 distributors and 200 key customers, the desk calendar wins, because it sits at eye level on the desk of the person who signs your purchase orders, and because it survives the office move that a wall calendar does not.

The unit economics follow from that. A 12-sheet wall calendar at 15 × 20 in runs ₹18–₹32 at 5,000 pieces; an A5 desk 13-sheeter on 300 GSM card runs ₹28–₹45 at the same quantity. You are paying roughly 40–60% more per piece for a calendar with one-tenth the surface area. What you get for it is the wire binding, the die-cut easel, heavier board on every leaf and a piece that is handled daily rather than glanced at from across a room.

The combination most corporate buyers land on, and the one we quote most often between August and November, is a desk calendar for the named-account list and a wall calendar for the broad list, printed together as one job on the same plates where the artwork allows. Running both in one production window saves a second make-ready and gets you one dispatch, one invoice and one set of packing lists.

Questions we answer daily

What does a corporate table calendar cost per piece?

An A5 13-sheeter on 300 GSM art card with wiro binding and a matte-laminated cover runs ₹58–₹92 at 500 pieces, ₹28–₹45 at 5,000 and ₹19–₹31 at 50,000, ex-factory Sivakasi. A 210 GSM version is roughly 10–12% less. Lamination, foil and gift boxing are quoted on top.

What is a 13-sheeter desk calendar?

Thirteen leaves: one cover and twelve months. It is the standard corporate desk format. A 7-sheeter puts two months on a leaf and costs 25–30% less; a 25-sheeter gives a fortnightly grid and is rare outside export orders. All of them wiro-bind the same way.

Which GSM should a table calendar be?

210 GSM art card is the working minimum and 300 GSM is the standard for a corporate gift. Below 210 GSM an easel-back calendar folds forward on the desk within a week. Above 300 GSM the wire has to step up a size and the calendar stops flipping cleanly.

What is the minimum order for desk calendars?

500 pieces. Below that the wiro binding setup, the easel die and the make-ready are a large share of the piece price, and a digital press with a comb binder will be cheaper. We will say so. For 100 branded desk calendars, a digital shop is the right answer and we do not want the order.

Can you gift-box each calendar?

Yes, in a printed sleeve or a two-piece rigid box, but not sensibly below 2,000 pieces — under that the box tooling costs more than the calendars. Above 2,000, a printed sleeve adds roughly ₹6–₹14 per piece and a rigid two-piece box ₹28–₹70 depending on size and board.

How do desk calendars ship to multiple branches?

Packed in inners of 20 or 25, then in 5-ply cartons of 100 or 200, with carton marks per destination. We will split a single run across as many delivery addresses as you list, on one GST invoice, with a separate packing list per destination. Transport across India takes 2–7 days.

Do you design the calendar or do I supply artwork?

Either. Supplied print-ready artwork gets a proof back in 1 working day. If you send images and a brand file, our prepress lays out all thirteen leaves and the easel back — allow 3–5 working days and a design charge that is waived on orders above 2,500 pieces.
