What to send so the first reply is useful

The difference between a useful first reply and three days of email is about eight lines of information: product, quantity, finished size, paper or board and GSM, colour count, finishing, delivery pincode and the date the goods must be with you. Send those and you get a per-piece band at your quantity and at the next tier up, so you can see what a volume step is actually worth.

If you do not know the paper or the GSM, say what the product has to do instead — “it goes on a wall for a year”, “it has to stand on a desk”, “it holds a 200 gram glass jar” — and we will propose the specification and tell you what it costs to go one step heavier or lighter. That is a better conversation than guessing at a GSM and being quoted for it.

If you have a physical sample of what you bought last time, photograph it and send that. A sample answers ten questions at once and removes almost all the ambiguity from a first quote. If you know what you paid last time and at what quantity, tell us that too. We would rather work against a real number than guess around one.

What happens when, after you get in touch

Production lead times are on each product page and start from artwork approval and advance, not from enquiry

If you are comparing us against another press

A sensible thing to do, and we would rather help you do it properly than hope you do not. Three questions separate quotations that look alike. At what quantity is this price? A per-piece figure without a quantity attached cannot be compared to anything, and it is how most Indian print quotations are still given. What paper, by type and GSM? A quotation 15% below ours has usually changed the specification rather than the price, most often by dropping one GSM step, which you will not see until the goods arrive. What is the lead time from approval, and what is the dispatch date? Those are two different dates and only the second one matters to you.

Ask all three of everyone including us. If a supplier cannot answer them in writing, the quotation is not a quotation. And if somebody genuinely beats us on a like-for-like specification at the same quantity, take it — 191 offset printers work in this town and a few of them will be better placed for your particular job than we are. What we would ask is that you check the specification, not just the number.

Questions we answer daily

What are your hours?

Six in the morning to eleven at night, every day, on phone and WhatsApp. Email enquiries receive a per-piece band within 1 working day. Export enquiries are answered within 1 business day. During the August-to-November peak we keep the same hours, but production slots move faster than usual, so early is better.

Which languages can I speak in?

Tamil, English or Hindi. Artwork and technical specifications are easiest in English because that is the language the trade terms exist in — GSM, bleed, forme, make-ready — but the conversation itself can be in whichever you prefer.

Where exactly is the press?

Sivakasi, Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu 626123. Madurai airport is about 75 km north, Sivakasi has its own railhead on the Madurai–Tenkasi line, and Tuticorin port is about 100 km south for sea freight. The registered office is in Coimbatore at 641045.

Can I visit the press?

Yes, and on a colour-critical job a press check is worth the trip — standing at the machine as the first good sheets come off and approving the colour there. Tell us in advance so the run is scheduled in daylight hours and someone senior is on the floor when you arrive.

How do I send artwork?

By email, by WhatsApp, or as a link to any cloud drive. Print-ready PDF/X is preferred; AI, CDR and layered PSD are accepted. Files at 300 dpi in CMYK with 3 mm bleed and outlined fonts come back proofed once rather than three times.

Do you handle export enquiries?

Yes, answered within 1 business day. Sea freight goes through Tuticorin and consolidated or air cargo through Chennai, on FOB or CIF terms, with export packing in 5-ply cartons on pallets. A pre-production sample goes by courier before a container is booked.

Are you GST registered and can you supply tender documentation?

Yes to both. Invoicing is by a GST-registered company with GST as a separate line under HSN 4911, and we supply the documentation set that school board, district and institutional tenders require, including samples against the tender specification and staggered district-wise dispatch schedules.
